Itinerary
We will pick you up and take you to your hotel in the historic city center of Cusco. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a brief walk to the Moon Temple with our local guide and Andean priest (Qβeros shamanic healer). Passing by numerous sacred sites, we’ll soak in the breathtaking landscapes and connect with Mother Earth (Pachamama). Our Qβeros Maestro will perform a Blessing Ceremony, seeking permission from the Apus (Sacred Mountains) and Mother Nature, opening your mind and spirit for the upcoming journey. Seize the opportunity to set an intention for this trip. Later, we’ll return to the city center by transport, allowing you the option to either return to the hotel or explore the city on your own.
In the early morning, around 4 am, we will pick you up for our journey to the local community of Qβeros, nestled in the CusqueΓ±an province of Paucartambo. The drive takes approximately 4 hours. Before continuing, we will stop in the town of Paucartambo to enjoy a delicious local breakfast at the market.
Upon arriving in Qβeros, the maestros will welcome us warmly, and we will share a traditional local lunch. Life in Qβeros moves at a unique, unhurried pace, giving us the chance to explore the community in depth and gain meaningful insight into their customs and traditional way of life.
Our Qβeros shaman will introduce us to the Andean Cosmovision and guide us through ancestral ceremonies. Today, we will also experience a Coca Leaf Readingβa sacred practice in which the shaman uses coca leaves for spiritual guidance. You are welcome to ask questions related to your health, personal projects, love life, or anything else on your heart, and the shaman will offer insights and direction.
As night falls, we will enjoy dinner and follow the rhythm of the community, retiring early with the setting sun.
Following a satisfying breakfast, our Qβeros shamanic healer will guide us on a short hike through the Andean mountains. Along the way, we will take part in a powerful cleansing ceremony. The maestros will first perform a special stone cleansing near a river, followed by a ritual using ruda and yellow flowers, which symbolize positive energy. The ceremony focuses first on forgiveness and releasing negative energy, then on welcoming in light, healing, and positive vibrations.
After a hearty lunch, we will enjoy a gentle walk to a peaceful spot where we can rest and listen as the shaman shares more of his ancestral wisdom.
Alternatively, if you wish, there is also the option to visit the main Qβeros community, located about 1.5 hours away by car. If you would like to include this visit, please let us know in advance so we can arrange transportation (additional cost applies).
The day concludes with a nourishing dinner, followed by an early bedtime in harmony with the communityβs rhythm.
Today, after a delightful breakfast, we will end our Qβeros adventure with a Mother Earth Offering – a ceremony expressing gratitude. Following this, we will take our private 4-hour drive to Urubamba in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here, we’ll spend the night at a scenic lodge surrounded by nature. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and unwind.
Today is a very special day: we will participate in a sacred San Pedro Ceremony. San Pedro, or Wachuma, is a powerful plant that aids in reconnecting with ourselves and nature, offering new insights into our personal lives. Accompanied by our translator and shamanic healer, we will journey to a special location surrounded by the Sacred Mountains. The ceremony involves taking the medicine and lasts approximately 8 hours, with our shaman present throughout. In the afternoon, we will have dinner and return to our hotel to rest.
After breakfast, we will take you to the airport for your domestic flight. Β‘Feliz viaje!

The Q’eros community is a Quechua-speaking group residing in the Peruvian Andes. As the last living direct descendants of the Incas, the Q’eros people, comprising approximately 2,000 individuals across five communities, offer a unique opportunity to connect with the spiritual energy of their Peruvian ancestors.Β
We will visit the family of an Andean Shaman in Chua Chua, one of the communities of Q’eros. This experience is exceptionally pure and authentic, providing a glimpse into their rich cultural traditions. It’s important to note that amenities are basic, with simple toilets, no hot showers, limited electricity, and no internet connection. This is not a touristic experience but is tailored for those seeking the genuine essence of Andean shamanism and are willing to embrace the simplicity of the setting.
A San Pedro journey unfolds profound insights and life-altering experiences, cultivating a heightened sense of connection and spirituality. The presence of mescaline, a key component, is recognized for instilling compassion, gratitude, and facilitating problem-solving. San Pedro has the unique ability to unlock creativity and enhance environmental consciousness. Revered as a powerful medicine, particularly in the Andes culture of Peru, it’s credited with the potential to heal “unknown diseases.”
San Pedro medicine induces effects lasting 8 to 12 hours. Users often describe an enjoyable, euphoric, and dream-like state of consciousness. Initial lethargy may precede vivid visions, sometimes accompanied by purging to release negative energy. Effects may include slight numbness, a faster heartbeat, and altered perceptions of colors and movements. Guided by our shamanic healer, the ceremony ensures a thorough cleansing of mind, body, and spirit. Lingering effects may persist post-ceremony but generally diminish after 8 hours. The San Pedro experience has both extroverted and introverted dimensions, fostering profound connections with nature and introspective explorations of emotions and personal experiences, culminating in a moment of pure happiness, love, and inner peace.
- Refrain from consuming meat and spicy food one day before the ceremony.
- Avoid drugs and alcohol for at least one week before the ceremony.
- Opt for a light, vegetarian dinner on the evening preceding the ceremony.
- Experience the full effects of San Pedro medicine by fasting for around 12 hours before the spiritual journey. This involves a simple, meatless dinner and abstaining from breakfast on the day of the ceremony.
