Maestro Santiago
Q'EROS ANDEAN SHAMAN
Maestro Santiago was born in the remote Q’eros community, often referred to as the last living Inca lineage and guardians of profound ancestral wisdom. From a very young age, he was carefully guided by his parents and grandparents, who passed down the sacred traditions of their people. They taught him to walk the path of wisdom, to live in harmony with nature, and to always express gratitude to Pachamama, the sacred constellations, and all living beings that sustain life.
Now 78 years old, Santiago has dedicated more than five decades to supporting and healing others through his knowledge, ceremonies, and spiritual guidance. His humility, strength, and devotion have earned him deep respect not only within his own community but also among those who come from far away to learn from him. Today, he continues to embody the living spirit of the Andes, carrying forward traditions that connect the past with the present.
