Itinerary
In the early morning around 5am, weโll pick you up for the journey to the local community of Qโeros, nestled in the Cusquenian province of Paucartambo. The drive takes about 5 hours.
After 3 hours, weโll make a stop in Paucartambo for a local breakfast at the market. Here, weโll also have the chance to buy the ingredients and products needed for our days in Qโeros, ensuring we have everything required for our meals.
Upon arrival, the Maestros will welcome us warmly, and weโll enjoy a delicious local lunch. Life in Qโeros moves at its own unique rhythm, giving us the time to explore every corner of the community and learn about their customs and traditional way of living. Our Qโeros Shaman will offer a brief introduction to the Andean Cosmovision and perform a coca leaf reading. This oracle reading offers insights into different areas of life such as work, love, and health. The coca leaf is considered a symbolic bridge between the material and spiritual realms and plays a central role in Andean ceremonies.
As evening falls, weโll share dinner and retire early, in harmony with the communityโs practice of resting when night descends.
After a local breakfast, our Qโeros shamanic healer will guide the dayโs session, sharing ancient wisdom and traditions. The focus of today is energetic cleansing.
Depending on the weather and your preferences, we can choose a shorter or longer hike in the high Andes. Along the way, the shaman will select a peaceful spot by a river, surrounded by mountains, where he will carry out the cleansing rituals. Using stones from the river and ruda herbs, the ceremony focuses on release and forgiveness. This is followed by a flowering ceremony with yellow flowers, dedicated to receiving positive and renewing energies.
Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch and, depending on the weather and your energy level, take part in additional activities. The itinerary is intentionally flexible and unfolds spontaneously, co-created with you and your guide.
The day concludes with a nourishing dinner and an early night of rest.
Today, after breakfast, we will end our Qโeros adventure with a Mother Earth Offering โ a ceremony expressing gratitude. Following this, we will take our private 5-hour drive back to Cusco, where we will arrive in the afternoon.
